klimaaktiv - climate protection in Austria

The klimaaktiv building standard is the most successful rating system in Europe. Until now more than 1,000 objects were built according to the klimaaktiv standard in Austria.

Almost 30 percent of final energy consumption in Austria is attributable to manufacturing. klimaaktiv has therefore developed a comprehensive package of measures for businesses - a significant contribution to reaching the EU target of improving efficiency by 2030.

klimaaktiv mobil promotes climate-friendly, sustainable and energy efficient mobility through mobility management, consulting programmes, awareness raising, partner and networks, and financial funding schemes. 

The e5 programme encourages Austrian municipalities to act in a sustainable manner at all levels: in dealing with energy, consumption, mobility and the economy.
